Writing a children's book is something I have always wanted to accomplish! However, whenever I sit down to do so, nothing comes to mind. I think there are those of us who would make excellent children's book authors though. Despite the new era with ebook readers, there is still something about a child holding a book in their hands and soaking in the pictures. My 2 year old will sit for half an hour looking at books on her own, she just loves the pictures. You can't do the same thing with an ebook so I think children's books will be here to stay for a long time.  This is the type of career that will take awhile to get going most likely, so be patient, sit back and get creative!
