Mural Wall Painting

If you are good at drawing/painting another possible business you can start up on your own would be mural wall painting. Depending on your specialty, you could paint wall murals in children's rooms, other household rooms, restaurants, hospitals and other various businesses. 

To start up, you would really only need some good paints (I would recommend acrylic), good paintbrushes and to make sure you know what you are doing! Of course finding customers is important here as well.  You can do free advertising on craigslist, paint murals in your own home and have company over to see the results (they may love it and decide to have you do a mural in their home as well), take business cards and samples of your art to various businesses, offer to do some free murals initially if you don't have any samples but make sure to take lots of pictures of the finished product!  Make sure if you are doing the free murals that you are providing business cards of some sort and see if they would be willing to pass more out to others who might like your mural.
